Why the extra expense of the cromo when it wasn't (by my reckoning of the BITD rules) required? Re: Cage Size on El Chivo? Just because something isn't "required" doesn't mean it isn't a good idea. The extra margin of safety afforded by the 4130 makes it worth it. . .now. . .as far as the bumper and that kind of stuff, they really didn't need to be chromo. . .but they are

Re: Cage Size on El Chivo? All of it. . .even the body lift is 4130 chromoly. I think that one cross bar on the tire carrier is DOM but that's it on the whole truck.
