It's just hours before we will be on the road headed for Henderson. Sorry we've been bad about updates this time, but we've been really busy! We promise, El Chivo is even better than ever!

Tonight, the freshly fabbed, braced, beefed and blinged rear end goes under the truck. A few more final welds on the new exhaust system and El Chivo will get rolled on the trailer.

Spares are strapped on, fluids topped, fresh wax job and pit boxes are ready to go. Things are feeling good!

I've got to give a preliminary thanks to TIM and DANNY for the evenings they have been sacrificing to help get the truck ready to go. It is definately going to pay off.

I would like to say thanks in return. Without rumblegoat racing I don't think I ever would have got the chance to participate in desert racing like this. One more thing I get to check off of the bucket list

It does not look like it is going to happen. I have the truck ready, and plenty of fuel, and tires. I just cannot find any money. I am still working on the money part. I have until Thurs.... I am hoping to find a money tree somwhere lol..

We just have the belly skid to install and to tighten down the exhaust flange before it is time to load up. Tic Toc.

Axle is installed, painted, sealed and oiled, shocks on, snap ring in, brakes bled, exhaust got final welded, and tires put on. Exhaust support got welded on an the system bolted up after I left. We just need to bolt on the belly skid and charge shocks. Everything else is good to go.

TrophyGirl is bringin' the N2 so no worries.

I am going to need the time tonight to pack and get the electronics together. If you think I need to help with the skidder, I'll be there, but otherwise I'll see you at 6AM. I'm picking up Danny at 5:30 and Poppy at 5:45AM.
