 Diesel guys
If you run a diesel truck I would highly recomend an anti jelling aditive. I have seen 3 trucks in the last couple of days that are jelled up. This is the first time I've seen it in this area. It usually isn't could enough to be a problem around here.

 Re: Diesel guys
Any thoughts on why my block heater would not be working? Is there any magic to them?

 Re: Diesel guys
It works like a water heater in a house. Use a ohm meter and see if it has continuity. It it does look at your extention cord. If it doesn't unplug the cord at the heater and check it there to see if it's a cord problem or the element is burnt out. Are you sure you don't have a problem with your glow plugs?

 Re: Diesel guys
Haha ... ya, and don't drive off with out unplugging the extension cord ... not that I have done that I haven't crawled under it yet. I figured it was pretty simple. Tim, if you are home later, maybe I'll bum a volt meter if you have one to check resistance.
