 Final Prep Update!
El Chivo is ready to rock and roll!! Here is a recap of what has been done since last race:
Repair, rewire O2 sensors, replace exhaust collectors, replace and rebuild new transfer case, build truss and replace rear axle, fabricate transfer case shifter and lockout, replace torsion bars, magnaflux and replace lower control arms, fabricate and replace belly skid plate, replace all nuts and bolts in the suspension, replace jack, fabricate new jack mount, shovel mounts hi lift jack mount and alternator mount, replace harness, change fluids and filters .... whew ... that's all I can remember!!
Jose wrapped up the fabrication last night, and we got the pit boxes sorted and lists made. Chase truck gets packed tonight and El Chivo gets a bath and loaded on the trailer. We will be headed south by 6PM on Thursday!!!
Viva El Chivo!!

 Re: Final Prep Update!
Did you guys mount the exhaust differently this time? Last time didn't work /w rubber motor mounts and solidly mounted to the frame/body.

The exhaust is "different" It will work, but needs to be more astheticly pleasing down the road.

 Re: Final Prep Update!
Yep. . .it isn't pretty. . .but we had limited time to make our testing window. The new exhaust guy is confident that he can make a pretty and functional set up. . .along with a couple of other new items to shore up any motor movement. . . Back to packing. . .
