Post Fourth place finish at the Powder Puff Race
WE DID IT............. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Finally we had a finish and it was a fourth place finish at the Powder Puff Race, and Rebel is so excited. Her and Lisa drove their butts off today. We had to run with the class 8 trucks that had Fiberglass bodies, four linked suspension, and that did not discourage the girls at all. Rebel drove her own race and she averaged 50 mins. per lap, on a 23 mile course. We had two minor breakdowns that were fixed real fast, and the girls were off and running again.
The race course was very rough, it was wooped out almost all the way. There was only a couple of spots where Rebel was able to get the truck up to a decent speed and let is go. She said the fastest they could get up to was 62 mph, due to the terrain.
And we were told by you guys at the Silver State 300 to party like Rock Stars when we had our first finish,,,,,,,,,, Well we did................ We are sooooooooooooo happy to finally have a finish.

I have a whole bunch of work to do before the Henderson 400, but we know what needs to be done. We are just going to buckle down and get it done so we can do well in Henderson. When I get home this week I am going to start taking the truck all apart, and get to replacing a bunch of stuff that got beat up at the PP.. I just want to thank all of you again for your moral support. You are all great people, and it is nice to have friends that have faith in us, and we consider all of you our friends. We were real discouraged about three weeks ago, and did not know which direction to go with this program.
We have decided to stick it out and try harder next year, and work on getting some finishes so we can approach people about some sponsorship opportunities.

Thank you again for your support.
