Post Life insurance is the responsible thing to do
As a working member of your family, your greatest asset is your ability to make money.

People don't like to talk about it, but upon the loss of a life, finances are the last thing you want to worry about. Life insurance is for protecting your assets that you have worked so hard to build. There is no sense in building a retirement, saving for a child's college education, and paying down debt if you don't protect against the loss of income.

Most people do not have life insurance because they never thought about it, never got around to it, or didn't think they needed it. Which one are you?

If you are young...
...and hope to have a family someday, securing a level term policy now will cost you less in the future when you need the coverage.
...and healthy now, securing a child policy can help guarantee coverage as an adult. Any child covered with a policy, when converting to an adult policy, is guaranteed up to 5 times the coverage without proof of insurability! That means if your child develops an illness such as diabetes or cancer, your child is automatically covered up to 5 times where otherwise the illness would render them un-insurable. Also, the cost per month is the same no matter how many children you have (up to 25).

The rest of people who already have coverage usually don't have enough, have the wrong kind, or are paying too much. Our motto is "Buy term and invest the difference". Suze Orman and other professionals know that term insurance is the best value. If you have a cash value policy you would be much better off investing outside of your life policy. Contact me for a quick quote, at least you will know you're not paying too much. You might be surprised what you can get and how little it costs.

This is soooo true.

When we are alive, we are money making machines. When we die, somebody gets SCREWED unless we are protected.

A very good friend of mine is an insurance agent and he gives us an annual insurance check-up plus I have another few hundred thousand in term policies at work. If I knew what I know now and did not already have a long term relationship with my agent, I would be on the horn with Keri today.

One thing you might note: you may want to "forget" about your aspirations to race while you are filling out the forms. ;)
