Well it has been two weeks since the Parker 425 and I have pressure washed the race truck three times. There is still mud everywhere, OMG I think the truck is growing the stuff LOL. Well we finally got some time to start taking the truck apart. We got the headers welded back together today and reinstalled them on the truck. I was very happy when I fired the truck up and the motor was not hurt. It really did not sound good when we loaded it on the trailer in Parker. We thought we had done some damage, but someone was looking out for us. WHEW!!!! The motor and tranny are ok so far. We have not had a chance to take everything else apart, but it will all come off the truck soon. I think this time it is going to take me until April to get the truck prepped, it is a mess. As soon as I can figure out how to do it, I will post the pictures of the leaf springs we took off at the race... Thank you, Gary |
