Post Re: My mild rides
In order to do a suspension lift I have to convert the brakes to a different year, like '99 to '02 or else modify or build a custom lift. Nobody makes a suspension lift for '03 and '04. There's just not a market for two years worth of Dakotas and the brakes caused changes in the lift. I don't want to spend that much money on my truck. :(

Keri. . .if you bring it over after Terrible's, I know a few gearheads that would help you knock it out pretty quick. We might even talk you into somebigger shocks. . . ;)

Finally got the rock sliders on, after almost a year!

I know they ride low, but so does my truck. I haven't lost any ground clearance. They are more for form than function. The purpose was to cover up the frame with the running boards, and I just added the tubing into the design.

Just a thought. You might want to curve the tubing in on the ends so that it doesn't get stanged on anything.

The back is. the front couldn't be because of the tee right there. I hope not to get close to stuff with my wheels anyway where I would be pushing all the way from front to back.

Those are cool. You could probably sell them to the Dakota peeps.

That's a good point, they are sharp looking. They compliment the black wheels nicely.
