Re: My TROPHY truck style Dodge Durango.......my build thread...
in due time my freind...in due time....cage ( inside and engine ) ...long travel....not sure about the rear...want to link it....but not sure yet...depends on Pirate Lab right now( im waiting for a quote for each)....all of that is in the works...headers were ordered yesterday........need to buy a small hoopty pos car to drive while alot of the front is off and the engine cage and front suspension is getting out on..I want it so that when you are walking up to it...looks like a 100% race truck that someone threw lic plates on.....but want it to be nice like a show truck...like the STEWART Racing trucks.......i want to to not only look the part.....but also have the suspension to play, but that is the hard part.......there is a guy who goes by "desertDurango" who has the front suspension already and is helping me with alot of the details......its only been done a few times on my truck....so any help and info is great!!! Needb to find a welder in my area who doesnt think im insane....most that i have shown my drawings and designs to think i need medication...or need to be commited......lol Everyone around here is building rock crawlers......and think im crazy for building a high speed offroad truck....thats why i posted that if anyone has any ideas or input...i would be greatful....

The Stewart Raceworks prerunners are a very high standard. Complete customs, no factory frame even. However, the nicest example on the planet of what you are talking about is Nick Baldwin's Trophy Prerunner. Check it: http://www.offroadmasterpiece.com/index.html

Can you imagine the looks you would get driving that through town

That one sold at SEMA for $750,000. It is a masterpiece. Baldwin drove up to the interior guy's place in his brand new CL65 (200k car) and said, "Make the inside MATCH this."
