So, have you been to a professional desert race? You really should come and hang out with us in the Dez. That would give you all of the ideas that you need. Not only are there race trucks to look at for the suspension, but the prerunners are off the hook.

Now, if it were me, I would call Kent Kroeker at KORE Motorsports and ask him about putting long travel suspension on your truck. They make a kit for full size dodges that uses a special CV that allows 12" of front travel at stock track width. . so you would be able to keep your current fenders. Also, I wouldn't bother linking the rear. You can get 16" of smooth travel out of a Deaver spring pack. Call them up and tell them the application and they will hook you up.

I think it's the steering rack that holds back the dakota based trucks. That thing would be sweet with a I beam conversion.

...yah..I am wanting to go to one of the BITD races...just kind of held back bc of money and projects i am working on......and I am a photographer...and would love to bounce around and take pics...I have a feature of the black KORE dodge in OFF ROad mag...awesome truck....but i do want alittle wider stance in the front....even if Im being shallow and focusing on looks.....someone else has mentioned the Deaver springs to me....scared of the price though...the front suspension is going to kill me i know....i know I want to keep my 4wd...and i know its can be done....like the 4wd stadium trucks....pirate lab so far has the one one i know of.....need to get one the ball and get some work done and get a sponsorship like i did with my old car...save me some money...

...ive heard the same thing....i love all of the prerunner rnagers i see in pics on the net...but i want to keep my 4wd...someone ( not sure who) built a long travel 4wd white ranger that was on Offraods website in a feature talking about 4wd long travel being the next thing.......if i ever decide to toss the 4wd.....i would def. consider it.....

got alot of work done since i last posted here...truck is currently broke down ( broken shifter cable- that is on special order) ...bought a ORU roof rack with spare mount...and checked into buying a prerunner roof lightbar...and was told 3 to 6 weeks to get one...so i said screw it and made my own..just tack welded right now...and i am going to finish probably tomorrow....new stainless skidplate.......doing alot of little stuff to it since she is just sitting...installed strobes and such for the first bicycle race and spring storm season....new headlights should be here monday or tues...may strip out interior soon....have started designing a cage for it.......been looking alot on the net for pics and ideas...if yah know of any let me know...
