Our first race is approaching quickly! Terribles 250 in Primm, NV will be Saturday April 19th. Participate with us, as we give live updates through out the weekend from the trip, contingency and race day! We will be giving live updates where we have wireless, if not we will be relaying through other team members back home. On race day there will be LIVE tracking! Follow us through all the ups and downs at our first BITD event! Feel free to ask questions and participate, we will do our best to keep in contact through the entire event.

Dave W will be our contact when we aren't connected to wireless. Tracking will be on http://www.racetheworld.net. For this to work properly you should be running Firefox. Remember, watch for our number "7314".

I'm setting this up early because we have LOTS to do between now and race day!!

Our tentative schedule is to roll out of Kennewick, WA around 6pm on Wed, April 16th. A 17 hour drive puts us in Las Vegas sometime mid morning on Thursday. We'll make a quick stop to pick up some safety gear, then head about another 20 miles out to Primm. We'll wrap the evening up with pit/ driver change practice and reviewing pre run notes. Friday is contingency. For non racers, this is where the trucks are paraded through booths of many sponsors. This is where we get to interact with factory reps, and also ensure we have the correct sponsor stickers on our truck to be eligible for contingency money. At the end of the line is tech inspection. Saturday morning will start with staging at 4:30am and hopefully us starting somewhere around 6:30am!!

Is there going to be an designated camera person? Lori, maybe? Pix as we go would be cool if we can do it!

I figure we will be able to email some pics of Vegas and contingency from the hotel Friday before the race, then again, Saturday night after the race.

We can post them from here as well. I'll snap some of the cars that are here this morning and then maybe a few of the pre-run registration tonight.

BTW, may I get phone #'s for Mr.'s Moss and Healy? Just may need 'em at some point...And, are you planning on a phone in the truck?

I'm a bit late. The guys are off and running. Steve isn't answering his phone, so that's all I know at the moment...

At this time, Jim and Jose are in the truck, with Jose driving. They will swap seats at Pit 1. Steve and Don will get in at the end of Lap 1, in about 2-1/2 hours. Laps are about 84 miles.
