We don't have build pics. . .

It is stock. Bone stinkin' stock.

Well.. ...............ok, not really. It is stock with about 200 feet of 4130 tubing to reinforce it and about 3 months worth of mortgage payments in high end shocks and Deaver springs to suspend it. . .but stock control arms, stock rear end, stock steering, stock dash. . .all per the rules. Almost stock motor. . .kinda stock tranny. . .ooooh. . .it is a 4x4 too. To re-create this beast, it would cost in the neighborhood of $70k.

it weighs 5k and goes almost 90mph in the dirt. It is a little slower on pavement. Not sure why.

wellllll. . .

It is a race car. . built by race car people (NOT US). We have modified it extensively from the original build but have stayed within the rules for 7300 (pure stock, mini and mid size trucks).

no idea on the WHP. What has been done to the motor can't be discussed on a forum. ;)

The six shocks are set up as two per side in the rear and one per side in the front? What size shocks are they?

4 shocks in front are 2.5" triple bypass

2 shocks in rear are 3" triple bypass

Any pics of how the front ones are mounted? I'm having a though time imagining how there was enough room to connect them to the control arms...

Here's the secret:

We use 16" long shafts with 8" travel bodies. . .that way the bodies don't have to fit inside the A-Arm AND we can keep 4x4.

Other guys in our class walk up to it and go, "DOH!!" why didn't I think of that!!

So its just the shaft itself that passes THROUGH the A-Arm? and the upper mount is what? on the cage inside the engine bay?
