Hey thanks for the Hat! It was cool meeting some more of the crew. I'm excited beyond words to make the next trip for Terribles 250.

Post Re: Prep work and updates
Last night we discovered that we need new seats. The suspension on the old ones were destroyed by the person that mounted them when he built mounts for them by a combination of hole saw and welder. So, I'm hunting for seats wherever I can find them to be shipped today.

We are also engineering a solution for the limit strap mounts, working on fabbing fozzie's rear seat and seatbelt mounts, bodywork is getting close. . .and looking for a time to test. It looks like we might have to do a mid-week test session to get everything done in time for the race. Then we'll do the nuts and bolts, fluid change. . .etc.

Right now, the priority is finding seats that can be here early next week. . .so any help is appreciated. The current seats are MasterCrafts. Pro4 or ProSeats would work. We need the hip containment of those ones and the 3Gs are too wide in to fit our application easily.

Once I return home and help with the searchin, you want to stay with mastercraft since the mount is already there.... Correct?

No. The mounts don't matter as long as it is a quality seat about the same dims as the Mastercraft.

The mounts on the seats were. . .uh. . .custom?

We've had those seats out countless times and everything looked fine, it's amazing what you find when you take off the sliders though . . .

OK, the actual prep "work" is complete. The only things remaining are to install the skidplate, the plastics and clean the bed. We'll have that done and have everything packed on Monday night. Spend Tuesday night with our families and then head South for the big show.

PLEASE. . .check this site for live updates of the Terrible's 250 at PRIMM beginning at 5:45AM on Saturday, April 18th.

RumbleGoat Racing's 7302 Ford Ranger FX4 will be fighting to be on top of the podium in the richest Desert Race in Nevada. The sanctioning body is Best in the Desert (BITD)
