Please help me in welcoming our newest sponsor, Radio Service Company (http://www.bizrad.com). We are extremely happy to have a LOCAL communications company to work with for our race communications needs. Radio Service Company is an expert in all aspects of business communications. For RGR, they are providing chase communications in the form of VHF radios. When we tested them in "urban" terrain over long distances, the quality of their tune was second to none. We're very impressed with everything about this local company and look forward to having them in the pits as their schedules allow. |

Thank you for your support. The radio communication was flawless. We even had contact in alot of areas we never expected to. Even saved our bacon when we were stuck in the middle of no where and could make contact with the BITD officials. Again ... thanks El Chivo sporting it's new steeker

I finally got some VHF radios in that can be permanent for you guys. I may be able to set aside an extra one or two for future use also. I will get them setup and tested. FYI some of the frequencies that are being used are licenced to government agencies here local. I will try to get a list of channels that are safe to use in this area for truck testing if needed. They are safe to use in the desert of Vegas or Mexico, but it changes per state. Don't want the FCC coming down on you guys. |

I'll see what I can come up with. Used VHF portables are rare. Atleast a 5 Watt portable. |
