Finally, some pics and thoughts on the race...
Finally had a day at home to get stuff done and plugged away on some shots. First of all, if it wasn't obvious, I had a flippin blast. Honestly, I had a real great time and it is an experience I will never forget. There was a lot of what I expected and a lot that I didn't. Everyone on the trip is truly a top notch person and I feel fortunate for getting to meet all of you durring such an experience. I really look forward to going on more trips and hope I am able to. I am not against leaving the cameras cased up and getting my hands dirty either. I don't have much input on what I saw and how to improve. I was pretty much hiding behind a camera all weekend and the little things I could think of that would help the team with their ultimate goal have already been brought up by others. I do know that a voice recorder would have been pretty sweet for the pre-run. Hahaha Most anything I could think of that would help was all things I believe will be coming along with more wins and prize money. Part of what makes the team so great is that everything is being done without a huge budget. I love that. I love that the crew takes time away from work and put together whatever scratch they can to make it happen. That makes the whole experience something more than you could get if you had an unlimited budget and could just buy "easy" ya know. At any rate, here are some pics. Most the ones of El Chivo are under raps for a little while but I promise you all, you will get to eventually see them.
