I'm actually a little impressed with myself.

Out of the 20 rounds I fired at a 6" X I had:
7 - X hits (one of which was dead on tits center)
10 - 10 rings
2 - 9 rings
1 - 8 ring

Not too shabby for my first time out at 600 yards. With my current loads I am about 19.5 MOA of drop at 600 yards. Thats almost 10 feet of bullet drop. I'm gonna start working my loads up a little to get some more muzzle velocity. I want to get it capable of repeated 1000 yard hits someday.

Since you have access to that nice 300 yard range, I would work up by .2 grains from where you are now to max(46 or 7?) Shooting each load for a group, but not adjust point of aim. Then you can see if there is a node where accuracy tightens up, plus you can overlay the targets to see how the vertical dispersion is(or shoot over a chronograph).

Yup, thats kinda the plan. I am at 42.5gr right not which is my starting load. It worked so I never worked up from it. But after talking to a guy I shoot with often tonight he convinced me it was needed.

With 19.5 MOA drop at 600 you must be running a pretty light load?
