RumbleGoat Racing is eyeball deep in preparations for the upcoming Best in the Desert Bilek Racing Silver State "300" on September 27, 2008. This race is covering a lot of terrain that has never seen off-road racing. The track will cover the desert and mountains around and between Alamo, Mesquite and Caliente, Nevada. It is rumored to be one of the most scenic and fastest off-road race courses ever.

Prep is proving to be a challenge because of the short turn around time and the amount of damage to El Chivo after "Vegas to Reno", but the drivers and crew are more excited than ever and very confident that all will be ready. "A fast, mountain track is where we cut our teeth. El Chivo is nearly ready and we should be extremely fast," commented Fozzie Walters, RGR's first driver off of the line for the Silver State 300.
