Dana Creech is an ATV racer and appears in at least one playstation game and the Huevos videos. He has really gotten into UTV racing. I went through grade school and high school with him. He called me a brat in 3rd grade so I stole his micro machines. I have video of him during the last week of high school saying that he is going to be an ATV racer after high school. I wrote him through his website before V2R to see if he had ever had any involvement including racing and to tell him I would be there. No response. His website doesn't get much activity either. I think I found a myspace profile for his dog, but not him.

His Mom was a substitute teacher for several of my classes in high school. She was also a photographer and did our youth football cheerleading portraits in their backyard.

Zonar is a company that Daimler uses to track it's reliability fleet. The system is quite comprehensive but I would suggest that we only using the satellite tracking feature with the web application. I was thinking this would have been particularly useful when the steering knuckle failure happened. We did not know where the race truck was, and at times, where the other chase vehicle was. We were fortunate, at least for my peace of mind, that El Chivo could be seen across the desert. I think it would be worthwhile to investigate using our own tracking system that would include chase vehicles.
