Terrible’s “250” at Primm
“The Richest Off-Road Race in Nevada”
Las Vegas, Nevada – Exciting news for 2008, the fun and challenging Terrible’s Town “250” race is being moved to Primm, NV, and has a new name Terrible’s “250” at Primm. Primm is owned and operated by the Herbst family and it will be the same great race that we held in Pahrump, NV.
The exciting 2008 Terrible’s “250” at Primm will be held April 17, 18, 19, 2008, in Primm, Nevada, promoted by Best In The Desert Racing Association and hosted by the Herbst Family and Buffalo Bill’s Hotel Casino. A $10,000 guaranteed total purse makes this “The Richest Off-Road Race in Nevada.” For the 2008 race $10,000 will be awarded to the 1st Overall Car/Truck winner. This is a great opportunity to race a great course and to take home a lot of prize money!
The 2008 Terrible’s “250” at Primm will be a loop race which will start and finish in Primm, Nevada, located 40 miles South of Las Vegas on I-15; the event will feature a best Car and Truck off-road racers racing today. Best In The Desert Director Casey Folks says, “This is the eleventh year of the Terrible Sponsored races and I expect a record number of Car and Truck entries racing for the additional $10,000. This is a big, big event, which is growing in popularity every year, in fact, I expect the 2008 “Silver State Series” racing year to be bigger than ever! Remember, life is an adventure and your adventure continues at the Terrible’s “250” at Primm.
Jerry, Ed, Tim, and Troy Herbst, who all love the sport of off-road racing, make a special contribution to this event by sponsoring a big after-race “Western Barbecue” celebration in the parking lot of their Buffalo Bill’s Hotel Casino. After a hard day of racing, it’s a great way to finish the day; eating barbecue chicken and watching the racers come in!

RumbleGoat Racing #7314 will be entering the 7300 class at Terrible's Town 250! We will be coming in full force, with the Ranger looking better than ever, and a full compliment of chase trucks and even a motorhome We will be partnering with Team Xterra Racing, and Gerber Racing. Come track us down in the pits, I'm sure we will have a BBQ with something on fire, and are always up to lend other teams a hand, or at least make good conversation!

Looks like we'll have tough competition ... Fitts, Fisher and Johanson were the only finishers at Parker.
