Post V2R truck prepping. . .
For those that want to help prep the truck, I'll be at Fozzie's house every night this week from 6:30 to 9:30.

Post up if you can make it!!!

What we are doing. . .

Replacing Tranny
Diagnosing and repairing 4x4 kickout problem
Rebuilding/re-sealing shocks (Roman's area)
Fluid Change (everything) Including filters
Suspension nuts and bolts and springs
Bodywork (Fozzie is doing that, but he is very artful)
Removing some weight (interior plastics, running boards, odds/ends
Thinking aboue aero and top speed. . .just thinking
Cleaning tube and applying WD40.
Cleaning the interior
Painting the bumpers and maybe the bed cage. . .just maybe since a bunch of the truck will be masked off anyway.
verifying contents of and reloading pit boxes
making a list and checking it twice. . .
Then. . after all this is done, we'll take it out to the track and do a few warm/hot laps Crew is welcome to ride along with the understanding the RumbleGoat racing will, sometime in the future, be expanding to a multi-truck team. ;)

Prep is going well, but a little sluggish when the beer arrives. BUT, we've managed to get the tranny out and stripped, transfer case disected, shocks removed, headers off, bumper off for paint, extra weight removed and the big ol' dent is almost gone.

Any locals, feel free to stop by and say HI!
