 X-cross training
So I got up early this morning and went up to WSP to go riding. I didn't really ride all that far,I ended up breaking a link on my chain and had to coast back to the car. But during I got to thinking that If we all started riding maybe once or twice a week it would be some really good X-cross training. The way I have my hard tail set up I only have "4 inches of travel, riser bars, lowered seat and no front brakes, just disk in the rear. So with that set up it is super important to pick a smooth fast line. With no front brakes there is no way so slow down quickly when you get in trouble. Wich I almost found out the hard way this morning. Railing down a narrow single track trail at 25mph,totally committed to the God's of speed,is great training for the body and especially the mind.
