I'm not going to make the 3gun, I don't think. I could be down for the 600 though...

 Re: Yo Oltmann and JMOP....
I might be able to make it this Tuesday. What is the round count? Magnums allowed?
EDIT: Not going to piss off anyone with my muzzle brake? I read the TCGC thing about how MB guns have to shoot from the last 10 benches?
Oh and another thing you don't have to be sponsored by an existing member to join do you? I'm thinking about doing that this month.

 Re: Yo Oltmann and JMOP....
Match is Tuesday and starts at 5:30, meet at the 300 yard range. For your first time you'll want to be there about 5 o'clock ready to shoot some at the 300 yard range. Its pretty informal, just find one of the guys running the match, tell them you are a new shooter, and they may have ya put a few rounds down range at 300 to make sure you are on paper and not a wild shooter.
Round count is 22 total rounds (2 sighters and 20 scored). You can shoot more or less if you want as its just for practice mostly and you keep your own score. Bring extra so you can "prove yourself" at 300 if they ask.
Magnums are allowed as are muzzle brakes, just no .50 at the range. There are rules about using certain benches if you have a brake but for the match people just kind of make it known they are shooting a brake and everyone just positions accordingly, its really not an issue. A few weeks ago I shot right next to an AR30.
To join you do not need to be sponsored. Just show up on the night of sign ups with a check and some form of ID. You will be there a couple/few hours but leave with a badge that night.

Jake! Is there a special gate code for 600 yard prone like there is for PR? PM or better yet, txt me! If I don't hear from you soon, the stalking will commence.

I texted ya what I believe the code to be. I honestly think that code works all the time. The gate is supposed to be open tonight but not always. I'll be there about 5:20 with a key.

With the two RO's there was only 5 total shooters. It was great. Kevin was sayin that you might be low on primers. Are you about out?

Lots of fun, I'll have to do that again. Going to need to find some new brass for the .308 soon. Been shooting this same brass for a while now...

 Re: Yo Oltmann and JMOP....
I am basically using the same brass that I started with. I had about 80 rounds that I keep recycling. I am just shy of 300 rounds in the rifle so I am guessing some of it is 4th or 5th fired but it is all holding up real well. I am firing somewhat light loads but also full length size each time with the expander ball. I inspect every time and as soon as I find a split I'll probably start retiring it. I have about 40 or so Lapua brass that I can cycle in.
